Exam Based Units:

How will I be assessed?
The qualification is equivalent in size to one and a half A Levels, and it has been designed as a full two-year programme.
There are 6 units that will be required to be completed at the end of the 2 years. 2 of these are externally assessed (through exams), and the remaining 4 units are internally assessed (coursework).
Future opportunities
The qualification carries UCAS points and is recognised by higher education providers as contributing to meeting admission requirements to many relevant business Foundation degrees and HND’s. When combined with other qualifications in a two-year study programme, such as two A Levels or another BTEC National Foundation Diploma, learners can progress to higher education on full degree, single or combined courses. Learners should always check the entry requirements for degree programmes at specific higher education providers. After this qualification, learners can also progress directly into employment, however it is likely that many will do so via higher study.
