The Katherine Warington PTA is named the Katherine Warington Association of Friends (KWAF). We are a friendly group of volunteers that consist not only of parents, but for guardians or Carers of current Katherine Warington Pupils.
About KWAF
The Katherine Warington Association of Friends (KWAF) is our school’s Parent Teacher Association. We are a friendly group of volunteers made up of parents, carers, guardians, staff, and friends of the school.
Our goal is to build a supportive, inclusive, and fun community that benefits all Katherine Warington pupils — now and in the future.
Founded alongside the opening of Katherine Warington School in 2019, KWAF works to:
- Fundraise through social events and activities.
- Strengthen links between home and school.
- Encourage involvement from parents, carers, and the wider community.
- Provide resources and facilities beyond the school’s core budget.
- Promote sustainability by reducing waste and encouraging recycling at events.
Membership
Membership is free and open to:
- Parents and carers of current Katherine Warington School pupils.
- All teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Governors and students.
- Any adult (18+) who wishes to support the school and is approved by the Committee.
Everyone is welcome — the more people involved, the stronger our community becomes.

Office bearers are elected annually at the first meeting after the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

KWAF depends on volunteers, and there are lots of ways you can help — big or small:
- Join our mailing list for updates and event news.
- Help at fundraising events.
- Join the volunteers WhatsApp group to hear first about upcoming events.
- Donate services such as printing, supplies, or skills.
- Share your fundraising ideas.
No time commitment is too small — every bit of help makes a difference!

If you don’t have time to volunteer, you can still support KWAF through our Katherine Warington School Lottery.
- Tickets cost just £1 per month.
- Every ticket gives you the chance to win £25,000 in the national draw.
- A portion of every ticket directly supports Katherine Warington School.
