We had a very informative trip out this week, with a group of students. The trip was organised by the Princes Trust as part of the Achieve Programme that the students are taking part in.

We visited the Tesco Supermarket in Hatfield.

Students had a tour of the store including behind the scenes – areas such as the staff room & canteen, warehouses and all the departments. Even the giant fridges and freezers which were rather chilly!!

We meet a Tesco’s team member in each department and had a booklet to complete. They explained their job roles, and what skills were needed. The students had also prepared some questions.

At the end of the visit the manager did a mock interview with Rio. It went really well, and Rio got a prize for volunteering and doing so well.
