Computing Museum Trip
On Wednesday 10th May, Year 10 Computing students had the opportunity to visit The National Museum Of Computing located in Bletchley park.
The day was full of hands-on activities. Students looked at the first computers built and how they assisted in winning the war. Students looked at Robots and Artificial Intelligence and the ethical issues surrounding AI and the limitations of AI before going on a chatbot and trying to guess if they were speaking to a Computer or Human.
Students coded their own SNAKE game using an old BBC computer. The day included a tour of the museum and a chance to see the different inventions and technological advancements over the years. Students had a chance to play some old games and they saw the first chatbot “Eliza”.
