This month, the Dragons’ Apprentice team for Katherine Warington School are holding a sponsored sleep out to raise money for the charity Herts Young Homeless.

The charity is based in Hertfordshire, and raises money for young people and teenagers who live on the streets. As part of this generation, we are affected by this and want to help. Dragons’ Apprentice gives us an opportunity to raise money and to give back to the community, but we can’t complete our task without the help of the community itself.

Our overall aim is to reach £1000, and we are in the final stretch. We have decided to hold a sleep out, where we will be sleeping in the back garden of one of our peers – immersing ourselves within the outdoors to get a feel of what it is like for the young homeless people around Hertfordshire – all in order to make a difference.

With your help we can reach our goal and win the Dragons’ Apprentice challenge, while helping young people off of the streets. We will be accepting sponsorship by cash or card over the next few weeks.
