Colour in the Library
As we roll into the half term break we’ve seen the library transformed into a very colourful place. The weather may continue to be dull, but the Library is lit up with the rainbow colours of LGBT+ History month, and also our wonderful Lunar New Year decorations. Our book displays feature the best of our LGBT+ books, both fiction and non-fiction, and also a wide selection of love and romance stories for the February “Romance” month, for the National Year of Reading challenge.
As part of the Lunar New Year celebrations we’ve got lots of lovely books connected to China and the Chinese culture, and because it’s the year of the Horse, we’ve found lots of horse-related stories too! The library has been beautifully decorated, and we’ve been offering some Chinese themed colouring and bookmark making during lunch and break times.

We have books for everyone in the library, and we’re always happy to see people having a browse and picking something to enjoy. With half term looming, and the weather showing no sign of improvement, it’s the ideal time to get stuck into a good book; drop in and pick one up! Wishing everyone a lovely half-term break.
