Child Safety:
This week Year 7 and Year 8 received some important reminders about how to keep themselves safe in assembly. We discussed how important it is that students understand how EVERYONE is responsible for keeping them safe. We talked a bit about how teachers, parents and students all have different roles to play in this.
Following feedback from students in the annual Young People’s Health and Wellbeing Survey, we shared information about how young people can access support. Below are links to the resources referenced in the assembly. Students have had this sent to them via email but we thought parents may find some of these sites useful too.

Finally, this is a quick reminder for parents that the Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner Service is up and running. If you think this is a service that might benefit your child, feel free to make a referral yourself. If you would like help or advice about this please do not hesitate to make contact with a member of the pastoral team.
Year 9 will be receiving a similar presentation later in the term but these resources have been shared with them this week.
