It’s been very busy and enjoyable term of sport at school with a range of fixtures throughout.

Special mention should go to a number of students that were selected for the Saracens Pathway programme after impressing in a school rugby tournament.

I’d also like to congratulate the Year 9 football team in particular on a very encouraging season. Playing an attractive brand of football, they have grown as a squad with particularly excellent performances against Simon Balle, Verulam, Roundwood and Nicholas Breakspeare. It was unfortunate to lose in both cup competitions in extra time when it could have gone either way. Well done on an excellent squad effort. Everyone played their part.

Lastly, I’d also like to congratulate the two Under 13 girls football squads on winning the school district tournament. An impressive achievement and again, the squads played with good quality, attractive football.
