Katherine Warington School Celebrates Exceptional Third Set of KS4/GCSE Results
Students and staff at Katherine Warington School (KWS) are celebrating another hugely successful set of GCSE results, with students achieving excellent outcomes. Building on the school’s foundation of academic ambition, this year’s results showcase the dedication, growth, and hard work of the entire school family.
Headteacher Mr. David Martin commented, “I could not be prouder of our students and their achievements today, it has been a joy to see them smiling and celebrating their success. Over the past five years, this cohort has demonstrated extraordinary determination, focus, and drive, and seeing their hard work rewarded today is immensely satisfying.”
“Success like this is never done in isolation. We are deeply grateful to our parents and carers for their support and partnership. Finally, my sincere gratitude goes to our tireless teachers and support staff. Day in and day out, their dedication, belief, and care inspire our students to reach higher.”
“Today has been a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the success of this year group. We have seen our students grow enormously during their time at KWS, both academically and personally. Their achievement is richly deserved.”

Particular congratulations go to Lucy, Adam and Henry who together gained an impressive 27 grade 9s.
The school is pleased to see so many students achieve the grades they need to progress to their chosen post-16 pathways, including KWSixth (Katherine Warington’s Sixth Form) that launched in September 2024.
