This half term both our Year 10 & Year 12 students are heading off on work experience to get the chance to see what different careers and work places are like.

Our Year 12 students have managed to secure a wide range of placements for their work experience, from solicitors to golf clubs, primary schools to universities, where they will be getting a taste of working life.

We still have some Year 12 students who are looking for places so if anybody is willing to host a student the week beginning 22nd June for 5 days please contact f.dayton@kwschool.co.uk.

Our Year 10 students are also going to places such as museums, building companies and government ministries. Year 10 students must make sure they have completed all the relevant forms prior to their placement. They also need to contact their employer to organise an interview or opportunity to talk about their upcoming placement; half term is a great time to visit if needed. A presentation which will be delivered to students in assembly about what to do prior to the placement will also then be sent out to parents for information purposes.
