Also, well done to everyone that showed the best of themselves in the inter-house sports tournaments during Activities Week. The weather was kind and some of the talent on show in each of the sports was great to see.

Congratulations to the following students on being identified for great participation in the tournaments:

Mrs McPartlin was particularly impressed by Jasmine D, Eva M, Josh H-M, Evie H, Naomi S and Joanne E.
Miss Anderson commented on Evie H being great too – she heard her encouraging another student multiple times when they were on a different court to Miss Anderson. Also Ethan W played excellently in the games she officiated.
In Year 7, Miss Moxham identified Neel P for great effort and playing a demanding position for a lot of the games. Max M for cheering his team on and being supportive and Violet C for a great attitude all day.
From the football tournament, Mr Alexander identified Alfie P in Year 7 for having a great attitude throughout the day, and in Year 8 the whole Ali squad for reaching the final with a great attitude and team effort. In Year 9, Mikayla from Keller for competing against all the boys!

Year 7 – Nightingale won both the netball and rounders, while Franklin won the football.

Year 8 – Tesla won the football, Keller won the netball and Ali won the rounders

Year 9 – Armstrong won the netball, Tesla won the football and Franklin won the rounders.
