School Open – Tuesday 13th December

I fully appreciate the extra burden parents face when a decision is taken not to open the school with little notice. The decision is not taken lightly. Factors such as staff availability, bus transport and the safety of movement around the site all feed into the final assessment to open or close.

We are planning to open as normal tomorrow due to the efforts of several staff who have been on site today creating pathways and making the site safe for students and staff tomorrow. A further communication will be sent by 6:45am tomorrow morning should this change – if you don’t hear from us it’s business as usual.

Please leave extra time for your journey and ensure students are wearing sensible sturdy footwear. School buses should be operating as normal – we are not aware of any revisions at this moment in time.
