On a dark and wet evening at the start of February, a large group of Year 11 and 12 students, with their parents/carers, gathered in the library to find out more about the process of applying to study at Oxford or Cambridge Universities, and the support we offer here to our prospective Oxbridge candidates. During the evening, students were also given lots of ideas about things they could be doing now to build towards their Personal Statement, which forms part of the application process. The evening was rounded off by our former Head Student, Becky, who spoke about her own journey through the applications process, which has culminated in her being offered a place to study PPE at Oxford university.
