Almost there…
As we approach the end of the academic year, we’d like to politely remind everyone to please return any overdue library books to us. Remember, you can just drop these into the book return box in the library; there’s no need to justify its late return, we’d just be grateful to have it back. We’d also ask you to consider donating any study guides that you no longer need to the library, to help the next cohort of students here at KWS.
Do keep in mind that the ePlatform is available over the summer holiday to all KWS students, and you are welcome to have print books over the break too, so keep up with that reading over the summer break! There’s no better time to dive into a new book or a new adventure!
This month sees the start of South Asian Heritage month, which runs from 18th July until 17th August and first took place in 2020, so is a relatively new observance. The month seeks to understand the diverse heritage and cultures that link the UK with South Asia.
Our Student Library Assistants have gathered together a collection of books to showcase the texts we have that are set in South Asia, or are written by South Asian authors, or featuring South Asian characters. So, do pop in and have a browse. We have so much to offer and a lovely, cool, calm environment in which to explore it all.
