Golf

Congratulations to James M in Year 8 for becoming a member of the Under 14’s Hertfordshire county golf team. This is an impressive achievement.

Netball

A great first game for the Year 7A netball team vs Loreto. The final score was 12-8 with the player of the match being Sophie K. This was then followed up with an intense match for them against Roundwood Park in the district cup. Unfortunately, a 17 – 19 loss on this occasion, but the girls performed excellently with Sophie T identified this time as the player who showed the most endeavour.

The Year 10A team also had their first game of the season v STAGS B, coming away with a 17-11 win. Daisie S was noted as the player of the match.

Rugby

We had a very competitive set of fixtures against Samuel Ryder, which turned out to be our last fixture of the rugby season due to our Beaumont fixture last weekend falling foul of the weather. All teams showed heart, but well done in particular to Year 8, who continued their fine form this season. Overall, it has been a hugely positive season for our rugby squads and praise to all students that have represented KWS rugby squads this year.

Football

Well done to the Year 7 boys football team after a 5-2 win in the county cup plate. On a challenging surface, the boys were still able to play some attractive football. Every member of the squad played their part in a confidence-boosting performance.

Another superb performance by the Year 9 boys football team beating Kings Langley in the county cup. They now look forward to the quarter finals after Christmas.

Finally, a great game for the U16 girls team vs STAGS. A very promising win and 5 different goal scorers. Great work girls.
