We may only be a few weeks into the academic year, however, there is already so much amazing progress that we are seeing in literacy across the various subjects. We know that having strong literacy skills allows our students to succeed at KWS and it was so lovely to see some of our students taking pride in their literacy on a recent learning walk.

Outside of the classroom, we have also seen massive engagement with literacy initiatives already! Our Year 7 students were very involved in the Summer Challenges set on Transition day and it has been lovely to see so many of our Year 7 and Year 8 students completing their reading trackers.

As the school year continues to ramp up, please make sure that we continue to take pride in our literacy skills.
