KWS Talent Show: Thursday 26th March
I am delighted to confirm that the inaugural KWS Talent Show will finally take to the stage on Thursday 26th March, and I could not be more excited about what promises to be a brilliant celebration of creativity, confidence and student voice.
After an incredibly busy autumn and spring term filled with performances, rehearsals and events, this feels like the perfect moment to come together as a school community and simply enjoy the extraordinary range of talent our students have to offer. Even more exciting is that this event is being led and run entirely by our Year 12 students, who have shown huge commitment, organisation and ambition in bringing this event to life.
The Talent Show is open to everyone, and I really do mean everyone. Students can sign up with any talent they would like to share: singing, dancing, instrumental performance, comedy, magic, spoken word, or something completely unexpected. If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to give that a go,” this is your moment. Students can enter by completing the Google Form sent out by the Year 12 team.
There are some fantastic incentives too, with voucher prizes of £50 for first place, £30 for second place and £10 for third place, as well as lots of house points up for grabs, so there is plenty to play for.
Tickets will go on sale after half term, priced at £5 for adults and £3 for students and concessions, and I am particularly proud that all money raised will go directly to our school charity.
I cannot wait to see the stage filled with energy, courage and creativity, and I hope as many students and families as possible will come along to support what I know will be a joyful, uplifting and unforgettable evening.
