On Monday 2nd December, Chen and Alan from Hertfordshire Police Cyber Fraud team visited KWS to deliver some important messages to year 7 regarding Cyber choices and online safety. Students learnt that Action Fraud reported that £30,000,000 was lost as a result of fraud in Hertfordshire. (This figure may be much higher as this is based on the cases that were reported.) There were reminders for students on how to protect themselves against cyber threats. Students were shown the importance of having secure login credentials, and they were given some examples of legal and illegal hacking and legislation relating to the misuse of computers.
